  4. 17 May 88    aftopl: fixed width fonts:
  5.         spaces were 1.1x wider than other characters,
  6.         extraspace was space/3
  7.  
  8. 18 May 88    Added \@dononsf to convert \registered, etc, back
  9.         within \rm, \bf, etc.  Fixed bug in \@getfam which was
  10.         expanding the \CMND parameter.

  12. 26 May 88    Accent characters \' \` and \= did not work within
  13.         certain environments due to reassignment.  Added
  14.         assignments to \@acci \@accii and \@acciii in
  15.         pslplain.tex.

  17. 27 May 88    \em didn't work in italic; incorrect calculation of
  18.         SLANT in aftopl.

  20. 5 Sep 88    Bug in mk-sc: wasn't appending ";" at end of lines for
  21.         lower-case letters.
  22.         Also: aftopl was ignoring the fact that smallcaps
  23.         fonts don't ligature fi and fl.  The AFM files were
  24.         right, but aftopl added the LIGs anyway (reported by
  25.         Nick North).

  27. 18 Oct 88    Bug in \_ and \AA; no space between the final digit
  28.         and the closing right brace (Alasdair Rawsthorne).
